Building Environment Consultants,
Inc (BECi) was born in 2002 out of a need for
good quality diagnostic services and solutions focused on
issues concerning the air quality in homes and buildings.
BECi's team of personnel
are selected and trained to assure diagnostic procedures and
analysis meet today’s latest accepted criteria for accuracy
and completeness.
Personnel are carefully trained both in-house and through
outside professional training programs. Each project is
evaluated to determine the needs of the project, then
methodologies and procedures are selected to gather the
required information and provide a complete analysis of the
results. Recommendations are made to the client to provide
solutions that will result in cost effective resolution of
the issues, without creating future issues to be dealt with.
BECi has developed a
training program for its employees and those of many other
professions regarding mold issues. This training has become
the subject matter of a book BECi
is now offering publicly,
Fungal Contamination: A Manual for
Investigation, Remediation and Control.
BECi hopes this book will
help us meet our mission by challenging the industry to
improve the quality of mold issue services and offer a
resource to assist in standards development.
